A: Pours a slightly hazy golden amber in color with light amounts of gentle visible carbonation rising slowly from the bottom of the glass and some golden yellow + orange. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy tan head that slowly reduces to a very thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of dank, herbal, and pine hops over a lighter hint of caramel malt sweetness.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of caramel malts with a moderate amount of associated sweetness. That is quickly followed by strong flavors of pine, herbal, and dank hops. There is a moderate to strong amount of bitterness which lingers for quite a while.

M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Sticky. Moderate amounts of dryness in the finish.

O: This beer is just not very drinkable, tastes a little like it is on the border of an American Barleywine and DIPA - sweet upfront and bitter in the finish but seemingly not in balance (almost feels like the flavors/aromas are in conflict).

A- It has a nice deep amber color. Well carbonated.
S- I got piney, herbal and earthy, even a little resiny.
T- The malt background is certainly apparent and balances with the long bitter finish.
M- Accurate to the style. Perhaps a little heavier on the palate than desirable.
O- This is not the best IIPA I've had. The bitter finish is overpowering and the malt backbone seems a bit too strong. Good attempt, but they should keep trying.
