Stopped on the way home from a Family Reunion.
Heard about this place from another BA, who was never there but heard they had good bar on tap.
Atmosphere: Night club first and foremost. Not a place to sit and ponder the beer you are drinking.
Selection: had roughly 10 taps, which 3 were devoted to Craft. 2 Brooklyn offerings and 1 Belgian offering. The other taps occupied the usual suspects for a nightclub. They also had 4 doors of bottles with at least 2 devoted to craft beer. That is a good thing. I checked out some prices on the bottles and found them extremely reasonable. $3 for a Weyerbacher Double Simcoe IPA is a bargain.
Quality: Tap lines were clean and beer tasted fresh. I tried all 3 craft offerings and each was tasty.
Food: did not try.
Overall: We did talk to the Bar Manager who is really trying to make this a craft beer destination for Uniontown. Anyone familiar with U-town knows this a one of the bleakest towns for craft beer given the size of the town itself. Even though there were 2 empty taps and he could easily put on more craft offerings, more than likely it would be a waste. I am hoping he succeeds in making this a destination as this is pretty convenient location right off of 119 and does have potential.
