Let me start out this review by saying that beyond the British Beer Company and Tommy Doyle's Irish Pub, there is not much of a craft beer scene in touristy downtown Hyannis MA. So, althought it's more of an artsy bistro and music cafe than a beer bar, the Island Merchant is worth checking out. It has an interesting cafe type atmosphere with friendly service. They had a few taps from Cape Cod brewing, a few other micros, and a selection of other local micro bottles. I didn't try the food while I was there, but if I hadn't already eaten elsewhere I would have. (565 characters)
