A very nice option added to Little 5 recently. I was never a fan of many of the bars in this area, as of late. I normally only go if I am at a show at the Variety. This place was packed the Saturday evening we went, both before and after the show. An excellent selection of beer, and pretty good prices. I found the Duck Rabbit selections and prices to be the most appealing. With the size of the place, it is bursting at the seams, guess a place with decent beer and vibe was in great desire in the area. I did not get to sample the food, but spoke to the owner who said it was a must, as one would assume he'd say. Staff was surprisingly attentive and talkative considering the crowd. In the same vein, but hard to compare to Brick Store. A welcome addition to Atlanta, as we need more places like this.

Great place! Phenomenal selection. Huge vintage/cellar menu. Prices are awesome. Food is fantastic. Tight seating, but that adds to the vibe honestly. Hard to go wrong with The Porter.

This is a beer nerd's dream. If you only have time to stop in one place in Atlanta due to a layover I suggest you coming here and spending your afternoon waiting on your flight here if you have the time. This place is on point with their bottle and cask selections.

Seriously if you live in Atlanta and haven't been here, you're missing out. Probably the best place I've ever been to for beer. Huge tap list, huge bottle list, and a giant cellar of things that aren't even listed on the menu. You can go back and walk around and admire the bottles (stuff you wouldn't imagine they'd have), point a few out, get prices from the staff, and decide to blow your load on them all. Prices were in line with what you'd expect at a bar/restaurant, with some outrageously priced and others just somewhat high. But that's to be expected. I got a 2009 Old Stock Cellar Reserve to start, and finished with a 2011 French Oak Jose Marti. I could have spent north of $1,000 at this place. I'm not going to list everything in the cellar because I'm not even sure if they're supposed to have some of that out of distro stuff. Food was also incredibly good, staff was nicer than any beer bar I've ever been to, with lots of patience for me and my questions about both beers they had and their pricing. I can't recommend this place enough. Seriously though, even if you don't want vintage or crazy cellar bottles, just go and look at the place. Just awesome.

It might not look as pretty as Brickstore, but the food is ten times better. Nick whips up great seasonal specials - constant rotation.

The cellar is solid for occasionally splurging, though we all hope they continue to improve it and not rest on their laurels.

The tap list is usually interesting, but you can ALWAYS rely on fantastic kegs coming out for themed nights, anniversaries, and craft beer weeks.

The veterans on the staff are particularly good at what they do.

Hundreds of beers. Awesome niche brewhouse with 30something atmosphere. Oh yeah, the food was outstanding.

This is my favorite beer bar in the country. There is always something great on, if you don't like the taplist the vintage list is out of this world.
