I've dropped in here before a few times just for the beer but this time I was with my sister from New Hampshire and we were not only thirsty but hungry.
The beer menu is not only vast but detailed so you know what you're getting.
I started with the Terrapin Hopzilla, went on to the Hercules Double IPA, Brooklyn Sorachi Ale, then ended it with the Port Brewing Mongo IPA. All truly outstanding brews, and I felt no pain by the time I left.
For food you can't go wrong with the Belgian fry's for an appetizer--hell you could make a meal out of this stuff. The charred onion mayo that comes with the fry's is incredible.
My sister had the giant cheese burger that came with some of the best mac and cheese ever served in a restaurant. I had pork chops with a delicious salsa verde gravy. The food and service was fantastic.
Some of the things that make this place great is the lack of neon, and televisions blasting from every direction. You can talk without yelling and the lack of neon and other frilly lighting gives the place a comfortable feel that is relaxing. They have a great staff, that seem friendly and knowledgeable.
Another thing is you can take your beer out front onto the sidewalk, park your ass on the bench and do a little people watching--and this is a great neighborhood for that.
This place is a beer geeks Disney Land. My favorite in Atlanta.

My kind of place.
Low key, small, quiet spot in a place not to far from downtown (10min cab ride).
Menu is massive. Draught list is one page, two-sided and has a great selection from IPA's, wit, stouts, etc.
Huge selection from Europe. Many breweries I was completely unfamiliar with.
Vintage/cellar selection was really cool. They only had a couple beers pre-2002 and most were in the 2007-2012 range. Still awesome to have that option.
Staffed by a young fellow who was sociable but a tad inattentive.
Another great thing about this place.... glassware. See anything you like? No worries, its for sale.

Went on a Friday night. Upon approaching the place, it looked like a really small brick and mortar pub. The front door leads to an elongated bar area that was packed with people sitting down and a row behind, with room in the middle for people to squeeze by. Thankfully they have ample seating behind all this and our party of 4 only had to wait 20 mins or so for a table.
The beer selection was overwhelming. They had maybe 30-35 taps and countless bottles from great breweries both within and out of the U.S. They also offered a decent list of vintage beer, unfortunately I didn't see much on the list older than 3-4 years. Prices were somewhat steep, but not unreasonable.
They didn't have an overwhelming food menu but it sufficed. Mostly pub food and sandwiches, there were a few interesting items that I believe are only offered on certain days and times. Our food came after about 20-25 mins.
Other than a fairly rude hostess, the service was actually good despite being packed. I was not expecting this considering my experiences at most pubs in the past year or so. Our waitress would stop by every 5 minutes to make sure we had everything we needed and encouraged us to order our next round before we were even finished with our current one (I love not having an empty glass for 10 mins). She did mix our orders up a bit but that was settled, she realized it before we even mentioned it.
The atmosphere was typical of a busy pub/bar. It was a bit noisy but nothing crazy, and it was hard to maneuver around the bar area, but once we were seated we had a great view of the entire establishment. They apparently like to display old suitcases and random trinkets on the walls/shelves, which was interesting.
Overall I was impressed and certainly would return again, one of my better pub experiences to date.

Small local in a place where there is a lot of foot traffic bars and restaurants. It was already late and the smell was not the best one, long bar, good food and awesome beer selection, server was great providing some educated opinion and knowledgeable about what they sell, food was good nice bread, presentation was good as well as the flavor.
Their beer selection its really really good, good draft selection with a few options for every taste, great bottle and vintage selection that will match or best most other places.

Traveled to Atlanta on business. Saw this place on BA. They have an absolute AMAZING list of beers. The draft list was solid, but the bottle list was insane. And the Vintage List?? Forget about it. Amazing selection overall. I had a bunch of beers from the local brewery in Atlanta called Monday Night. Very good beers overall. Had a Rueze from the Bruery on draft.
Atmosphere is a great local scene. Lots of travelers and local couples hanging out. Good music, friendly service.
Food? They have a spent grain bread (spent grains from Sweetwater) with a salted butter. Nothing like a hot loaf of bread. Mac and cheese with white cheddar was awesome. I had the short ribs...little bit of a problem here. Very salty, very tough, under cooked, etc. But the gravy and mushrooms were good.
Great experience though overall.
