Spicy yeast, citrus rinds, and an earthiness reminiscent of cinnamon round out this Belgian-inspired pale ale. Hopped with Saphir, Citra and Chinook hops.

Growler poured into chalice
White foam finger , good lacings. Nice carbonation streams. Clear, copper orange liquid.
Aroma of spice, floral and citrus.whiff of pine.
Taste of Belgian yeast on the first sip on the front of the tongue. Spice, clove and citrus on the side of the tongue. Tiny bitter aftertaste.
Smooth start, low sudsing, smooth finish.
Good Belgian style, fresh, but, not no one in Brugge is looking over their shoulders

Without a doubt, this is my least favorite of any of the Pizza Boy beers I have had to date. I feel like I can sum the whole experience up with the fact that it tastes like mediocre homebrew. There is a overlying Belgian character to it, sure. But it's just...boring. And lame. A really poor showing from Pizza Boy. They should burn the recipe to this beer and flush the ashes down a toilet.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.
A - Pours hazy amber with a dense pillow of one finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving sticky webs of lace on the sides of the glass.
S - Smells of bready wheat, clove, banana, light piney hop bitterness and the mildly toasted grains. Pretty slow to develop, mostly one dimensional.
T - Starts off with some clove and other spiciness quickly being joined by chewy wheat, banana, bubble gum and mild hop bitterness. Finish is chewy, lingering long after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, chewy feel makes it easy to drink the whole glass.
O - A decent wheat beer. I don't get a ton of the added flavors, pretty much all base flavors. Still a nice beer for the lighter drinkers but I doubt I will get it again, too many other options to choose from.
