10 oz pour from a firkin.

appears hazy golden-orange color, nice white head. very nice hoppy aroma - a pleasant mix of citrus and earthy hops. just enough biscuit - flavored malt to hold up the big hop flavors. thicker mouthfeel for an IPA, I like it.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.

A - Pours clear golden yellow with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving thin sheets of lace down the sides of the glass.

S - Smells of fresh cut grass, pine resin, mild tropical fruit, bit of sugary sweetness and some very light booze. Hops are moderately strong but never border on overpowering.

T - Starts off with some grassy hops and mild sugary sweetness quickly being joined by the dulled tropical fruit, pine resin, dash of chewy pale malt and a touch of booze. Finish has some bitterness and sweetness to it with some lingering dryness.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Hoppy, sweet feel from start to finish. Only the faintest hint of the 10% ABV is present.

O - Despite the 10% this one is definitely on the lighter side of the DIPA scale. It is well balanced but I wish it had a bit more pop to it. Either way a solid DIPA.

From growler thanks to LJTate. Pleased it wasn't balanced like most DIPAs are. Hops were nice on this, great lacing. Makes me want to go to Al's in person now. Thanks LJT!
