Another bottle generously shared by Nate. Served in a Cantillon tulip.

A - White foam settles to a thin cap, thick collar, and stray splotches of lace. Lightly hazed pale orange-yellow body.

S - Smells like citrus and tangerine; is there fruit in this? Perhaps yuzu? Like the Permasmile this is more funky than sour, but it's more sweaty and over-ripe fruit in nature, and significantly less dirty. Some spicy oak, although that could be from the fruit if it's persimmon or something.

T - The taste is again significantly more sour, with tart citrus peel, some fleshy sweetness, and lactic acidity dominating. There's some light medicinal brett in the finish, but this is acidity dominating, whether it be citric or lactic.

M - Medium body with pleasant medium carbonation. Crisp and dry finish, with some tannic fruit and oak for good measure. Again, quite acidic, with early onset of heartburn after a small glass.

D - I enjoyed this one more than Permasmile, and the citrus character was unique. Perhaps a bit too acidic for mass quantities, but highly enjoyable otherwise. Might have to make a visit to Al's of Hampden at some point in the future.

A definite firm sour tone. Kind of a peach edge on thing it seems. Is that's what's in this one? I can't recall and I haven't looked it up. Anyways. Very consistent flavor delivery on things. Leaves that slimy feel on the back of your mouth and on your tongue. Easy to drink. I would like it a bit more complex as opposed to it being the someway punch in the mouth that it is. I like it though.
