From 02/01/13 notes. Tried this at Al's last weke on tap, reviewed out of a 32 oz. growler. Poured into a tulip.

a - Pours a somewhat clear golden-yellow one color with one inch of bright white head and low carbonation evident.

s - Smells of citra hops, lemon, fruity malts, floral hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits, wheat, grains, earthy notes, and hay. Awesome nose; lots of citrus and hops, very nice.

t - Tastes of of citrus hops, pale malts, fruity malts, earthy notes, wheat, grains, grapefruit, and light floral hops. Nice taste which I like, though not quite as fruity or hoppy as the nose.

m - Medium body and low carbonation. Very easy to drink; could definitely take down the whole growler.

o - Overall a very good pilsner; I love citra hops and they make for a great smelling beer here. Easy to drink, would like to have it again. (847 characters)

On tap at Al’s. Pours a clear straw gold with a sudsy white head. Plenty of foamy lacing. The aroma smells of tight bitter citrus, with more herbal and tropical flavors coming in off the sides. The taste has a crisp grassy bitterness with softer herbal tones on the edges, a tight bready backbone and then sweeter tropical fruit character that comes out across the back. Finish is dry and bitter. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a clean, crisp and overall very drinkable feel. This was tasty Pils, with those Citra hops giving this a juicy character that thankfully never got overly sweet. This was crisp and drinkable all the way. (637 characters)
