I have been to three locations now: Corona, Marina del Rey, and Santa Monica, they are opening one in my hometown soon as well, this place has some awesome burgers and that is more of a reason to go than the beer, with that said it is has a very modern open feel, not too much decoration but new and clean, the atmosphere is a little snobbish but not too bad in this location, service is pretty good but they do not have to do much because most of what you order you right down on a card, beer selection is okay, they have about six taps and two of them were Stone, another were microbrews, and the others were imports, their bottles are very expensive, small bottles of Samuel Smith's and Chimay are ten dollars, they do not have anything else too exciting in bottles, you can expect Newcastle and Heineken, that type of stuff, like I said food is why you go, this last time I went I ordered a burger with: gruyere, garlic alioli, honey mustard, applewood smoked bacon, grilled pineapple, bean sprouts, dried cranberries, onion straws, and a few other things, that is just to give you an idea of how unique your meal can be, it is cool that you custom make stuff, place is expensive, burgers can be over fifteen dollars depending on what toppings you choose, do not go here thinking you are going to grab some obscure beer, go to have a burger and enjoy it with an Aroogant Bastard on tap, worth checking out if you live near one

In my search for the best burger joint in Corona, I came across the Counter online and decided to give it a try. I was pretty surprised to see a decent beer selection. Its located in the upscale Dos Lagos shopping center right off the 15. Inside has that modern warehouse look, lots of metal, bare ceilings, exposed air ducts. The menu is a check off list of burger types and toppings to make the "custom built burger" experience a little easier and more convenient. The beer list isn't huge; I think they had about 12 taps, but its all micros or imports. I had an Arrogant Bastard and Maredsous 10. Both were served a bit too cold. The burgers ended up being pretty good, but kinda pricey. All in all not a bad place to try if you're in the area. Its right across the street from Taps, making Dos Lagos a decent beer stop for the area.
