I made a quick stop by The Tractor Room last night and was pleased with their small, but above average, beer selection. The number of taps isn't what impressed, but instead the carefully chosen beers to pour from them. Last night I saw North Coast Old Rasputin, Chimay White, Allagash White, Trumer Pils, Deschutes Mirror Pond, Old Speckled Hen and Palm. This may not seem like a whole lot of beer goodness, but this place is built for quality cocktails, not beer. However, they still served their beer in the appropriate glasses and offered some great choices. I didn't get to try any food, but I've heard it is pretty good, too.

First off, the Tractor room isn't really a beer place. They have an OK wine list, and a fantastic selection of cocktails (I asked for a Michael Collins and got the best one I've ever had) as well as a good whiskey list that includes lots of great bourbons.
The food and service is great; venison meatloaf and wild boar tenderloin were shared by my wife and I and we were very happy to pack up the leftovers. Absolutely delicious food and good service.
They had four or five taps: Chimay, Allagash White (which I ordered and enjoyed out of the tall pilsner glass they bourght it in), and Old Rasputin come to mind as being on offer. So you can certainly get a decent beer with dinner here.
Also, I noticed that Sundays from 5-5:30 are $1 drafts. I might even head over there in a couple of hours, it's only a mile or so from my house...
