Shipwrecked poured a hazy copper color with red hues, a very small, almost non existent head. Big fresh cherry aroma. The taste is creamy, mostly fresh cherry flavors. Body is a little flat. Overall its a big cherry like beer, good for a hot summer day.

Pours hazed amber with soda-like carbonation and a quickly disappearing head. Virtually no lacing sticks. The "artificial color" doesn't look quite "right".

The smell is of sweet-tart cherries. Mild and pleasant.

The taste is of sweet cherries with a tart touch in the finish.

The initial "fizz" fades to a rather flat feel. Smooth despite that. Not watery.

A mild cherry wheat. Nothing "special", rather "run-of-the-mill". The appearance and feel certainly need improvement. Otherwise, decent overall.

Served in a Walter Payton shaker pint glass.

Well, at least there are Door County cherries wherever the hell I've been shipwrecked... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose reminds me of those cheap, microwaveable cherry-flavored fruit pies so prevalent at 7-Eleven and other such purveyors. In fact, the smell is so strong, so distinctively cherry-y that it not only approaches artificiality but passes it entirely. Not much else to be found here. The taste continues this tradition with its own twist: not only is the cherry flavor artificial, it's also medicinal now. Yay... A bit of soggy wheat comes along in the finish, but that about does it here for complexity. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, I'm not a fan of this stuff, as it's just to fake-cherry-flavor-filled for my tastes.
