Nice new spot and crazy props to the home brewing geniuses behind it. Been a few times now and have left happy each time.

24 (yep, 24!) taps largely dedicated to Washington brews with handy dandy Twitter/RSS feeds to keep you up to date on what's on them. Recent visit had all WA taps with some Russian River, Bear Republic, and Stone mixed in for kicks. Extensive bottle selection but you'll have to ask what's what; no menus to be found. The house brews so far have been excellent and it'll be nice once they get licensing to brew on site. Beers aren't expensive but aren't dirt cheap. Definition of reasonable.

Food is ... fine. Selection's grown since opening but it's still limited and a bit pricey (a flute of 15 or so pickled hop shoots's good for novelty but at $4.50 you'll only think so once). This spot's about the beer and food's an afterthought.

Big and airy with modern cement and steel sort of decor. Honestly, it's a little big and--although it's not a terrible pain to order at the bar--some table service wouldn't hurt. Crowd's friendly enough if occasionally skewing toward "got Bud?" demographic.

Service is fair to middling but incredibly informed and attitude-less in my experience (Brouwer's servers take note!). They know what's on and know how to recommend.

All in all a great spot and definitely best beer bar in the Greenwood neighborhood.

Went there for a late lunch with my 2 year old son.

I like the place, but I don't get there often. My son decided to be adventurous and walk there from the zoo (1.7 miles is a long way for someone so short).

Boy's grilled cheese was actually decent, I had a salad that was good, lots of cheese. I had Naked City's triple IPA, which was solid, Hop Valley's double IPA which was OK, and pFriem's bourbon barrel aged imperial stout.

Service was good, attentive and quick (but they kept mixing up which table stuff was supposed to go to).

Went here during the summer. Nice outside seating, good food and a good selection of their own and guest beers.

Conflicting feelings about this place. It's in a great location for people watching, they have a decent variety of beers on tap, an interesting food menu, and reasonable prices. However, we felt it did not live up to its high rating.

My wife and I tried 5 different beers between the two of us. They were all decent but nothing really stood out. They appeared to be understaffed on the night we visited. Our server was all business and clearly overwhelmed, so we won't fault her for the slow(ish) service. Our food was OK--a little on the funky side but shame on us for ordering beet burgers and lobster mushroom risotto. (Note the latter was made with lobster mushrooms--I had to look it up--not lobster AND mushrooms.)

24 beers on tap; 16 of their own. An amazing range ... so I wished that you could choose the six for the tasting tray instead of being restricted to the six they say you must have. Loved two (Crossfire IPA, Pinkerton Porter), really liked another (Infernal Beaute Belgian PA) and liked the others (Blonde Ale, India Red Ale, American Brown Ale). Friendly prompt bartender. "Rawhide" on TV; this ain't the place to come to watch sports!

Boy was I glad I visited this place. A film I am of film noir of the 50's and now a fan of their beer. Service was excellent and got to meet the owner who said they were coming out with a "Dude" flavored beer. Beers were solid to mostly great. I really liked their IPAs in particular and wish I had a chance to taste some of their seasonal offerings. One of the best places I visited in Seattle period. I need to get back.

Good vibe. Good service. The food is reasonable. There’s a very nice selection of beer on tap. This brewpub puts out their own beers as well as putting on some very good taps from the area and the region. Very good spot to check out, the Greenwood area is pretty saturated with good beer spots.

I went to Naked City with my wife yesterday for the first time. I've been itching to go there for awhile, now.

It's a decent, straightforward bar setting. It's clean and laid out pretty well, and there are games and things available to help you kill the time while quaffing some brews. Of these there is a very good selection on-tap and in cans or bottles. The on-tap selection seems to center around Pacific Northwest brews, which I appreciate. Their selection also includes a half-dozen in-house brews, all of which I look forward to sampling in the future.

Service was good, although the place was pretty empty when we were there. Food is decent if unspectacular; the menu is rather small but has some tasty options and some vegetarian items.

I definitely plan on heading back to Naked City again soon.

Finally got to check this place out. Just went for a couple beers but I did make these observations:

- Bar was full due to World Series on the screens, not really clear where to order, eventually found the line at the end of the bar.

- They had a list of the beers on a piece of paper, didn't find the paper until it was my turn. That fact and having only one bartender on duty made ordering slooow. Why not add a large chalkboard with the taps listed?

- I didn't check, but the pints looked more like 12oz shakers - when will proper pours be a law here? The schooners looked like 10ozers.

- Eventually got a seat at the bar, and the bar was sticky.

- Their own Naked City beers were excellent! Many different styles. It was nice to see local/fellow brewpub beers on tap as well. Wish they had a beer engine though.

-Bartender was knowledgeable and friendly.

Recommended!

located relatively close to my abode, just off of 85th

pretty big interior, long bar, multiple rooms and lots of tables.

there seemed to be a heavy dosage of UW students in the room late on a Friday evening.

solid tap selection - lots of rotation too and their twitter feed dilligently updates every move in real time. I decided to see how bad the Deschutes Stoic really was while my gf opted for a goblet of damnation. There were other interesting guest taps as well - anacortes, cascade, lost abbey, etc.

They brew their own beer too, which has mixed reviews - I'll check that out next time.

I finally got to visit NC, but they weren't yet open for the day. Fortunately, I was with someone who knew the owner and we got in and had a quick tour of the brewhouse.

I checked the taplist and was certainly impressed, a wide variety of house, local, regional, national and international brews. I didn't eat but the menu looked solid and the cook I chatted with seemed to care about what he does.

Of course, given the circumstances, the service was spectacular and I enjoyed being a QC assistant for the day. Overall, I look forward to going to NC when they up and running. I'll update my review at that time.
