I've been looking forward to Taps opening since it's within stumbling distance from my house. My poor liver!
The place has a million TV's so it's a great place to watch a game.
Located in a strip center nestled between a residential area and a commercial corner.
The bar has a marble countertop and there is another counter just back that is kind of a bar extension.
It gets pretty noisy when it's busy -- they need more acoustic tile or something.
There are 30 beers on tap but the list is kind of a mess. Not very well thought out, IMO. But they do have 8 or so taps for locals. They have chimay white on draft that they serve in a Chimay chalice. Way too many average Euro Macros. Price is $5 for a regular pint which is about 50 cents more than the going rate.
The food is pretty good. They have a lot of fried stuff, onions, fries, pickles, jalapenos. I hear the burgers are good but I haven't had one yet. They also have salads but I've never had a salad in a bar...
They have a fair amount outdoor seating and they are dog friendly.
Overall, a nice place. It gets extra points from me for being so close to my house.

Went to this place within the first week opening.
They pride themselves on having BMC beers. THis was apparent when I asked what they had on tap and he (the pub's promoter) started out by saying we have everything especially Bud, miller, and coors. Apparently this guy is totally clueless and when I mentioned several local beers like (512) he had never heard of their beer. He asked if its new I said its been around for a few months as I mentioned that the dig pub right down the street had it and has had it for months now. He said he would have to look in to and then proceeded by saying he knew the owners their at the dig pub and they were not doing very well and he came of being defensive.
The service was lousy it took over 30 minutes to get a single order of fries served to my wife. They clamed the oil was not hot and it took time to heat it up. This was at 8pm and the pub had been opened at least a few hours by the time we got there.
Also the service not only being slow tried to charge us $53 bucks for 2 pints an a single order of fries. At first the lady was telling me this was correct. I said no it could not be according to your menu. Luckily the owner was standing right there and said oh I will take a look at this. The total ticket ended up being $12 which was reasonable.
The atmosphere of this place was that of a walmart or a grocery store. I say this due to all of their lights being fluorescent and all of them being on. it was very brisk to say the least. I almost wanted to wear shades. Not at all a chilled, laid back atmosphere where one can come and grab a cold beer and relax. They need some softer lighting.
Overall they did have about 30 or so taps and not all were BMC. They had a couple from live oak and real ale brewery, as well as a couple other micro beers, but mainly macros. If your looking for a damn good selection of craft beers in this area of town then BY ALL MEANS PASS THIS PLACE UP AND HEAD A FEW BLOCKS DOWN to the dig pub and say hi to todd. He will treat you right and the atmosphere is way better. They even have a couch!
