June 2014 bottling.
A: Slightly hazy gold pour. Very tall and very effervescent off-white head. Nice head retention and heavy, fluffy walls of lacing.
S: Lightly grassy and piney. A little bit of citrus too. Some grainy malt. Fairly subtle aroma, not exactly in-your-face hoppyness, in case you were expecting it.
T: Hops definitely more prominent here. I'm not sure what's in this, but I swear it's mosaic. It's got that kinda spicy, kinda citrusy, kinda I'm-not-sure hoppiness to it. Lots of herbal spiciness everywhere up front regardless. Mild, grainy, crackery malt in the finish leads into a brief hit of bitterness. More grainy, spicy black pepper and herbal qualities lingering between sips.
M: Medium bodied, fairly dry.
O: Interesting APA. Very spicy hops, bordering on the "dank" but not quite. Dry and bitter in general. Not huge and in your face like an IPA but bordering on the same. Nice dry sessionable beer but spiciness does hurt drinkability a little. It's good but not quite as amazing as most Pretty Things beers.

Pale straw yellow and crystal clear with a bright white head of irregular bubbles that lingers long. Low aroma of corn and floral hops. Subtle flavors of corn and grainy malt, tastes like a pilsner. Hard-edged finish perhaps from the hop bitters, but not much hop flavor. I guess you could say it's well balanced because no specific flavors rise up. Dry mouthfeel, very tingly. This selection from Pretty Things could be considered Pretty Average.

A - Very bubbly, white sea foam head, with a light amber tinted body. The creamy head didn't leave much lacing for me, but then again, the beer was tasty and none of it lasted very long.
S - A nice nose of hops, though nothing overwhelming... I have been on a IPA kick for awhile, and the balance of malt/hops is very welcome. Not a lot of fruit... very simple and clean.
T - Very crisp taste, and as the smell implies there is a nice balanced of malt/hops. Very refreshing and very simple. Great summertime beer. Full flavor but not too heavy.
M - There's a sharpness to the first sips that this isn't any ordinary APA. I'm a huge fan of Pretty Things, as they have a knack to bring something new to each of their beers. Crisp and clean.
O - Highly recommend it! It's simple but with just a little bit of a sting - perfect for a summer afternoon

Yay another PT beer, and an APA, interesting as most of their styles are English inspired. And since I've been reading so many Dr Suess and other kids books lately, I'm in the rhyming mood.
Pours a decent smaller fizzy head, hits 1/2 finger but stays in bit in stead,
crystal clear showing of light coming through, golden pilsner color little honey too.
Nose is interesting and unique, mostly hops and aromatic to boot,
Floral flowery notes quite chic, flashes of citrus pith and light fruit.
Lemon rind comes through as well, with with that mild citrus hop note,
Touch of cereal grains underneath dwell, with a nice crisp ale yeast float.
Taste more hops but not heavy or too bitter, floral hop notes with a lemon rind center,
mild citrus and light fruit act as a sitter, pith light rind and faint grapefruit enter.
Touch of cereal grains act as a base, with a light crisp ale like flavor and feel,
Some mild hop oils and resin I taste, a bit of a spicy hop in the back but it's real.
Finish is crisp and dry but a touch sweet, some nice bitterness of the hops cranking up,
Some spicy hop character and lemon rind treat, a spicy hop note says "what's up?"
Mouth is med to lighter bod, a bit of a crisp feel,
nice carbonation, mild hop oil the real deal.
Overall pretty nice, balanced and drinkable hop and malt,
Decent hop and malt profiles, hop oil like they did it on fault.
Hops are decent, floral lemon drink, citrus and fruit,
but could have been a bit stronger IMO, but that's not PT's root.
