On tap at Green Street, Cambridge, MA.
Appearance: Fluffy 1-inch white head that slowly dissipates leaving rings of lacing. Solid orange juice orange. Beer leaves walls of lacing.
Smell: Aromatic citrus (orange rind). Floral soap. Malt background.
Taste: Orange-rind, a good amount of funk, sweet with some almost toasted malty flavors in the finish. Nice breadiness underpinning the overall flavor. Tangerine comes out as it warms. The flavor is light, but there's a full warm citrus throughout, and a creamy, bright soapiness. Some spice too.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, though a little dry. Decent amount of carbonation.
Drinkability: Great flavor and mouthfeel, little noticeable alcohol. Easy to drink.
Solid, impressive saison with lots of nice little details everywhere in the experience of drinking it.
Serving type: on-tap

Pours a clear gold with thin fizzy white head, settles quickly leaving a couple of wispy runs. Smell: herbal, lightly grainy and bready, rindy and unripe banana notes. Taste: semi sweet pale, light stone fruit and pineapple, very herbal finish. Long finish eventually dries out but has a residual soapiness. It's alright. Think I've heard more about this one than is deserved. Dec 2013 bottling.
