Poured from a 22oz bottle into a tulip glass.
A: Pours a hazy light golden straw color. A rocky white head sits on top, but fades quickly to a thin film. It looks fairly lively with a moderate amount of carbonation.
S: Lots of cloves and other spices including black pepper and a touch of coriander. A noticeable amount of hops, creating a tropical fruit aroma also makes a presence.
T: Similar to the aroma with the plethora of spices. The hops make a bigger appearance here than in the aroma as does the typical belgian yeast taste you'd find in belgian pales.
M: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a light, crisp sensation towards the finish that beckons you to take another taste. It is quite refreshing.
O: This is a decent tripel. I like the ingenuity of adding amarillo hops , creating that tropical fruit characteristics. Overall, very enjoyable, but not spectacular.
