Lightly foggy pale golden with a fluffy white head that dissipates but leaves a bit of lace. Aromas are unnaturally sweet fruits and herbs. Flavors follow, but not consistently. It goes from bitter to medicinal to yeasty characteristics, all before destroying my palate with overly sweet, syrupy fruits. The bitterness that's left lingering is a little awkward. Medium carbonation, thicker mouthfeel.
I go to saisons when I want to be refreshed, not when I want to be overwhelmed. This one just wasn't for me.

Poured from bottle into Pretty Things globe/tulip.
Golden amber color with a finger of white head. Nice peppery and slight citrusy saison aromas. Flavors of peppery saison and rye up front with a big malty bready and rye finish. Fairly hopped - spicy saaz like hops maybe? Full malty mouthfeel - maybe a bit heavy but its pleasant. Overall, this is a really nice classic saison. Very enjoyable.
