During my travels to Uruguay, we were in Montevideo summer time with about 35 degrees Celsius. after walking on this weather by the beach we were craving a beer, any beer. I dont know if it was too hot and we were desperate but this beer tasted like heaven. smooth lager, soft to the palet and very refreshing. Not bad at all. However, It seems that i was having this beer in the right conditions and in the right place. Maybe it would be different if these conditions were not present. Cheers Montevideo!!

Clear yellow/light gold with a lovely white head that quickly fades.
Nice fruity yeast nose that is quite pleasant, albeit simple.
Very short in the mouth but with a pleasant feel. The mouthfeel that is a bit thin is highlighted by nice simply white bread/yeasty character that is rich and appealing. This would be nice basic brew with just about any food. In fact, it's really very drinkable and universally appealing. This is a lighter beer but one with some real character to it.
This beer tastes almost identical to the same breweries Pilsen, other than the fact that the Pilsen is a bit more crisp and sharp. Otherwise...I'd swear it's the same beer. I even drank them side by side and could barely tell the difference.

Patricia is a Classic Uruguayan beer, and it is one of many beers from Uruguay. Clean and crisp refreshing beer. Golden and appealing hue and color. Not super complex lager, but It is a simple good beer. Much more character and taste than other American Adjunct lager, like miller lite or bud for example. This is what Uruguay beer is good and simple, but never lacking in taste.

Light golden colored beer that looked great chilled in the bottle. The smell is slightly fruity, and all-though not overly complex, pretty nice. The taste of this beer has some solid character to it.
Very drinkable beer, and refreshing in my opinion. I had about 20 of these through-out my 2 week trip to Uruguay. Never a bad choice, but a rare find in the U.S.
A nice pair up with grilled meats, and barbeque.

I have never seen a beer from Uruguay in the United States. And no, this wasn't found in a store in the states either, but rather Brazil. This was poured from a 960 ml bottle a friend bought for a gathering. Well, on to the beer:
I love the look of this beer, it's not quite love at first sight, but rather lovely eye candy for a pale lager. The head is big and dense, with crazy lacing and froathing. Pale yellow color. The nose is insuted by this beer...its adjuncts and corny aroma don't make the nose a happy camper. Uh oh... . Well, my nose isn't the only camper, my mouth gets a slap of carbonation and a borderline-nasty flavor. Wood accents, lemon notes, and a cloying adjunct sweetness. Não, obrigado.
Patricia is the name of a pretty blonde woman who catches your eye, but leaves a nasty taste in your mouth. It is also the name of this beer, and the following description describes this beer as well.

Yellow color. I made a three fingers white head with low to medium retention.
Aroma of corn but also hints of lemon.
Taste of a balanced adjunct lager with a bit more hops. Aftertaste mildly bitter and metallic.
Light body with high carbonation.
Refreshing beer, not too high in off-flavors. Barbecue beer. I felt a bit better than Ambev (Brazil) second tier adjunct lagers given the marginal higher bitterness, but below first teat such as Bohemia, though they own it anyway.

Got this can in Colonia de Sacremento, Uruguay a few days ago and am drinking it now in my apartment in Buenos Aires. It's verrry similar to the same brewery's Pilsen. Just a shade better. Poured with a white foamy frothy soap bubble head and some lace. Gold color. Aroma is beery, a hint of hop and fart. Body's not too bad. Flavor's better than the aroma. Not really too bad; especially if there aren't many choices.
