How cool is this, I got to sample Barley Natural, an unfiltered lager, directly from the tank at the brewery itself! On to the beer:
This beer glows lemongrass color, the body unfiltered, the head dense and creamy, leaving good lacing in my mug. Sweet cereals in the nose. A very malty/cereal tasting beer. There´s a hint of banana there, a little DMS, on the sweet side...the flavors together make this one interesting, almost cream ale like. It´s heavenly in the mouth with a big bodied feel and a very creamy texture. Solid to drink.
A different breed of lager, to say the least. Worth trying if you happen to be in Rio Grande do Sul.
