Picked up at Bootleggers after really liking the Tripel, so hopefully similar experience. About $11 poured into a tulip.
A- A very clear light dark reddish. Lots of lacing and a 1.5 finger head. kinda surprised at how this one looks. The tripel was much cloudier.
S- Not much to the nose, some fruit and yeast and alcohol
T- Honestly not very complex as I was expecting. Grape and apricot, as well as a strong alcohol. 10% is a lot to hide but thought it would be more robust. Not much harmony with that strong alcohol taste.
MF- Very light, above average carbonation. Pretty drinkable except for the alcohol overpower
Overall, will not get again, not my favorite. For my personal taste I thought there could be more going on. I like darker brew anyways and I was really impressed with the tripel.
