12 oz bottle (procured in the Netherlands) poured into my Supra gueuze tumber, La Trappe Witte is a spritzy clear pale yellow with a large, quickly settling white head that leaves scattered lace.
Smell is sweet and fruity, but not to strong, and with a nice little twang from the wheat.
Taste is amazing, wow. Big fruity esters, very clean, super tasty. Surely the best Witte I've had, which is many, as it's a favorite style of mine. I love the sweetness while still being very refreshing and not at all overbaring.
Mouthfeel is sharply crisp, with a light body, very refreshing.
Drinkability is super high. This is an awesome witte.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe website (£1.89):
Slightly cloudy yellow to golden with a large, foamy white head that looks quite thick and holds well. Plenty of visible evidence of carbonation and some lacing left on the sides of the glass too.
Light spice then some citrus notes, there is a touch of lemon and a hint of coriander as well. I could detect some cloves, wheat & some refreshing fruits that seem almost tropical but these are faint.
Citrus with a mainly lemon zest taste to begin, there is some banana and a little clove too. A definite witbier taste with some light coriander and hints of spice and orange with a mix of various fruits towards the end.
Well carbonated with a citrus tang that is quite refreshing on top of a light body. The high carbonation takes a little away from the smoothness but the beer is an easy one to drink.
Not a bad witbier at all and very close to what I was expecting before opening the bottle. The taste features all the regulars for the style and the the balance is a nice one with no one flavour dominating proceedings.
