As pale as they come, almost white. How appropriate. Just a touch cloudy with a tight one finger head. Banana, bubblegum and some citrus on the nose with a little spice. Slightly cloying but pretty smooth and creamy. Malt comes through nicely. Good, solid summery beer. I'd get it again

Orange color, slightly hazy at the beginning and milky at last pours. Thin head.
Predominant tropical fruits aroma and yeast, notes of wheat and cloves.
Incredibly refreshing with a spicy feeling. Citric flavor of non-sweet oranges, mild on condiments and with hints of yeast. Clean aftertaste, a bit fruity.
A touch lighter than its counterparties in terms of complexity or flavor strength, still very quaffable.

Pours a light honey colour with a sudsy head that disappears pretty quickly leaving a little lacing behind. Smells of citrus fruits and peaches. It also has a very wheaty/yeasty aroma blended in. Tastes as fruity as it smells and has a subtle bite that finishes it well. Crisp and light on the palate but a little fizzier than I expected. Quite a refreshing drop.

11 ounce goblet - $9.00 at Taco Mac in Canton, Georgia.

Appearance: Displays an ever so slightly hazed, pale yellow body with a 1/2 inch of creamyish, cotton ball-white head.

Smell: Yields no more than a somewhat mild, anemic aroma, with all too transient notes of citrus rind, light malts, and spice.

Taste: Gentle union of pale malted barley and wheat with a sweetish touch of confectioners' sugar. Light honeyesque taste. Dashes of ground coriander, maybe a bit of allspice. Low herbal qualities with a very low amount of bitterness present. Light lemon. Sweetish, lightly spicy finish with a snippet of eleventh-hour fizz.

Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-light carbonation.

Overall: Refreshing and pleasant; a competent albeit uneconomical Dutch wit.

12oz glass at Beer Revolution YEG.

This beer appears a cloudy, very pale golden straw colour, with one thick finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and yet somewhat creamy chalk-white head, which leaves some stellar pockmarked lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.

It smells of bready, crackery pale malt, mixed orchard drupe fruit, mildly acrid yeast, lemon peel, and a prickly floral herbal bitterness. The taste is gritty, grainy pale malt, a bit of candy sugar, edgy yeast, muddled white fruit, and a soft lemon cleaner alcohol astringency.

The carbonation is pretty low intensity, and mostly just plainly frothy, the body medium-light in weight, and generally smooth. It finishes off-dry, the generic fruitiness eking out the lingering malt and wanly spiciness.

I hate to say it, but this is a bit of an underwhelming affair, the various components all present and accounted for, but not really standing out. Easy to drink, sure, however far from memorable.

750 ml corked bottle. Pale hazy yellow colour, heavy large foam. Smell is the usual for the style, but somehow weaker: lemon, spices (cloves, coriander), and a hint of banana. Taste is more spicy, cloves, cardamom, citrus, coriander but yet weaker than usual. Refreshing, easy drinkable, feels very good in the tongue. I only wish it was a bit more complicated.

O: fine witbier, nothing exceptional

330ml bottle bought from GapWines, Belfast...

Poured a hazy honey yellow colour... White head poured quite foamy then faded quickly to very thin layer.... no lacing...

Aroma - Spicy, light honey sweetness, some light coriander notes, peppery, light maltiness, some spicy hops, lemony, floral notes...

Taste – Spicy, nice light hop bitterness, light sweetness, lemon fruitiness, floral, slight nuttiness, very light maltiness, some wheat traces... flavours maybe all lacking a little depth...

Feel - Pretty sharp and dry. Light body. Extremely drinkable - would be nice on a hot summer day...

Overall - An ok witbier.... As i said maybe lacking a little depth - still worth a try though...

exp: Jan 2013

A: Translucent yellow, a hair dull, basically no head, mild rising carbonation.
S: Citrusy pineapple yeast. Sitting between sweet and savory.
T: Not sweet, could use a bit more sweetness. A mildly bitter witbier, which is a little odd. But still nice. Almost piney. Nice medium flavor.
M: Mild dry sting.
O: Pretty nice, but certainly different. Worthy
