Appearance - The beer was a murky brown color with bubbles clinging of the sides of the goblet.

Smell - In the aroma, dark fruits including prunes and currants lead the way. Further, the spiciness of the malts blends with notes of the alcohol.

Taste - At the beginning, I detect spicy smooth butterscotch, vanilla, and oak. This is a very easy drinking 10%. The spiciness lingers but the overall profile is mellow. In the aftertaste, the stickiness of the malts allows the profile to cling to the tongue with modest warmth.

Mouthfeel - Overall, this quad is thick enough to be described as sticky.

Overall - The cage broke when I tried to open the bottle. I had to use channel lock pliers to get the cork out. Aisde from this, I really enjoyed this beer.
