On tap at Kickoff in Waterloo.
Poured into an English nonic ale glass. Dark ruby-brown, leaves a 1/2 inch head that survives the duration quite handily. Sheets of foamy lacing to boot.
Nose is malty, with notes of caramel, dark fruit (grape, figs), candy and spice.
Similar notes here. I certainly do get the "Belgian" aspects of this beer. Much sweeter and with notes of grape, figs, currant, chocolate and caramel. But there is still a mildly hopped, bitter finish and a taste that reminds me a great deal of an English brown. A milder, easier to drink brew than others from Koningshoeven.
Carbonation is a touch low, medium bodied, slick.
A decent Belgian dark. I personally weigh on the side that this brew does qualify as Belgian dark, but there are certainly English characteristics to this brew as well. Flavorful, lower ABV makes this one I could happily drink throughout the evening. Nothing I haven't seen before, but well made nonetheless.

330 ml bottle, at Murphy’s 8541 Irish pub, Skødstrup, Denmark. ABV is 5%. Beautiful mahogany coloured beer, big to moderate off-white head. Nice aroma of caramel malts and dark syrup. The flavour has also caramel and possibly biscuit malts, but not much else. Dull finish. Okay overall though.

From old, undated notes. Poured from the bottle.
Murky brown color; barely see-through.
Strong khaki head; strong lacing.
Banana & clove nose; smells very Belgian. Hint of dark bread.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dark fruits & cloves; hint of banana. Again, very Belgian, but tasty.
I'd have another.

Nice mildly sweet ale, clear brown with thin foamy beige head; aroma is malt and molasses. Taste is slightly smoky roast grains and brown sugar. Smooth and easy to drink.
