Stopped in here earlier today as I was on my tour of the area. First off what a cluster to get too! The college crown made navigating the intersection a nightmare. Still I pushed through and made it there as a nice lady was hanging up some signs. Nice looking place, clean and very well organized. The selction was ok, not really anything special hanging out here. A decent stop, kind of odd placement, but it works. Noone was in there smoking at the time so no issue there. I would stop back in sometime

I popped in here, while on vacation in SC. This is an awesome place to take any cigar lover. Comfortable couches await you and yes, they have some good beer to choose from. The selection is fairly small, but has some good options, such as Delerium, New Holland, Coast Brewing. For cigars, selection is much more expansive and has all the majors that you might be looking for. Prices are above average, but hey, it is a nice place to beat the heat and unwind after running around seeing a ton of tourist sites.

First off, this is by far a smoking bar that has beer, not the other way around. I was actually there to get a cigar for the evening, and happened to notice a small cooler in the corner that held a good amount of craft beer. Some selections from Stone, Rogue, Charleston Brewing, Southern Star, Great Divide, etc. I got a Yeti Imperial Stout and took a seat near the front. The place was pretty packed out with young cadets and college-aged folk all smoking. Kind of annoying, but what else can you expect. They also have an upstairs lounge, but beer is not allowed up there as you have to go to the street to get up there. They carried a bunch of hookahs which is cool. I've always wanted to try that. Anyways, not the best beer-stop in the city, but if you're a fan of cigars as well as beer, it's a not a bad one. I'd go back.

A: This is very atmospheric, well-decorated place, but since I don't smoke, it was a little on the oppressive side. That's just me, though.
Q: Given the limited amount of beers in the single refrigerator, there were some solid beers.
S: The staff basically ignored me the entire time I was there - not that I would have asked for help.
S: The selection was fairly well thought out: A couple of the Bad Elf beers, some Unibroues, Satan, Magic Hat Jinx and a few others.
V: The prices were a little much, though that's what you'd expect from a place that doesn't specialize in craft beer.
While The Smoking Lamp has some decent beers in its inventory, there's pretty much nothing there that you can't get somewhere else for a better price.
