Cuvee Notredame fits somewhere between the local Belgian Ale House and the higher-profile restaurant. Quieter and more refined than other Belgian establishments in the city, the beer selection is meticulous with a good mixture of specialty Belgians amongst those that seem standard everywhere you go. The atmosphere is quiant and cozy, especially at night when the endless banks of glass glow onto the street with inviting warmth. The food is quite good, particularly the mussels, though in some instances slightly overpriced... particularly the mussels. Perhaps the best time to go is for the chalkboard lunch, which offers a plethera of exceptional food for such a low price.
