Was driving through and wanted to try Wormtown, but needed to eat, too, so this just made sense. Decent menu with a variety of pub fare, ranging from salads and apps to burgers, pizza to steak. And, they have the full Wormtown taplist. As people have previously stated growlers are cash only for whatever reason. Sitting at the bar, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and fairly knowledgable about the brews despite not really working for the brewery. Very local friendly place. Prices on everything were not bad, and I would definitely swing through again.

Wormtown HQ. They always have the freshest Wormtown brewing drafts and bottles. Food is moderately priced but worth every penny from what I have tried. They also often have a few guest drafts that are worth checking out. Beer prices follow standard prices for the area or perhaps just a bit lower than other beer-centric bars around.

I made a stop here on the way from Providence to Hartford on a recent trip. My buddy and I arrived around noon on a Friday. We, of course, bellied up to the bar. The bartender was very friendly. I ended up having a couple flights and sampled all the beers Wormtown had on tap. I should mention that the restaurant is connected to Wormtown Brewing. I ordered seafood risotto. It was awesome. It was probably the best meal I had while in the area. The beers were okay. None really stood out as great or awful. It was reasonably priced. I think it is worth checking out.

Priecey food and horribly bland...don't get seafood. Had baked stuffed haddock and salmon Timothy, both plates were still full upon leaving. Haddock: Soft, not flaky yet a bit rubbery...bread crumbs like wet sand on the fish. Salmon: over cooked, fishy tast not fresh...on bow ties pasta? C'mon. No side offered...over 16$!
Waitress not overly concerned or sincere in asking if food ok...as if she knew it was horrible. Walking away while asking. Offered bread after Appetizer (???) Umm...bit late.
Now the beer that's another story damn fine beer and unique brews such as coconut chocolate stout and some Buddha brew with citrus...and ginger head my favorite Christmasy tasting beer and don't usually like spiced brews.
Hats off to the brewers for being bold and having some balls in a vanilla industry (ahemm miller lite budweiser yucko) Should stop serving food and just serve Wormtown beer in this joint. And hire people without the track marks as a resume...Need better narketing have only heard whispers of this diverse line of original delicious brews...from the hometown.
The service was horrible: this chic was on blow..or maybe meth (allegedly)...but not happy enough to be on drugs, like she forgot the Anti depressant in her cocktail today.Heard the next tables waitress and was jealous...more than helpful..
Sides of mashed potatoe and vegetable...coulnd't comment as didnt touch em, uninviting and unoriginal shards of nasty veggies and mound of slopped on cafeteria mash. Fried pickles were worth trying but not worth trying twice. Damn waste of $50 with tip, 2 meals, 2 beers and app/mediocre tip...including Groupon discount wich brings it to $70!!!!I'd be really pissed at this price. I'm only semi pissed. but Beeer was good...did i mention? Cant f that one up.

I'm a big fan of Wormtown beers. I'd been to Peppercorns (attached to the brewery) once before a coupla years back. Now twice in one week. The food is superb - mostly Italian, I've now tried the pizza, the Fire + Ice (my favorite, excellent) and the tortellini - took home half of the half plate portion tonight.
The bartenders were top shelf, great chow, and the Wormtown IPA goes to 11. A West Coast style grapefruity aromatic wonder. Also had the Mass Whole, a local ingredient-enhanced brew. Had another version of this first time here that might have been marginally better, but this brew rocked. I'm totally sold on Peppercorns.
