Draft at brewery. Bright golden pour, soft foamy head. Hoppy aroma, citrus. Taste brings the hops up front, dominates the taste and lingers for a bit.

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.
L---Dark, rich amber color. It's clear, but hard to see through because of the dark color, not a lack of clarity. Nice, light orange head with good retention and very good lacing.
S---Malty. Bread & brown sugar. Not completely devoid of hops, though, there's some citrus (grapefruit) and light pine.
T---Bread/biscuit is up front. Some sweetness brown sugar/honey. More malty than hoppy, but hops aren't completely missing. There's some pine & some floral hops.
F---Fairly heavy. Mild carbonation. Almost chewy from the heavy malts.
O---My wife is a social worker in Montgomery County, PA. She swears that nothing good happens in Pottstown. I'd disagree based on this beer. This is a damn good beer, even if not in strict alignment with expectations for an IPA.

$ 2.00 (Including tax)/16 oz can ($ 0.125/oz) from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. Reviewed 6/24/19.
“BEST BY 06/30/19” on bottom of can. In reefer at point of sale. Stored upside down at 42 degrees and served at 45 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 3.5.
First pour – Yellow, clear.
Body – Gold, slight haze, effervescent.
Head – Large (Maximum 4.8 cm, aggressive center pour), off white with distinct yellowish tint, low density, below average retention, diminishing to a five to thirteen mm crown constantly being renewed by effervescence and a rocky cap of varying thickness.
Lacing – none.
Aroma – 3 – Weak perfume.
Flavor – 3 – Begins slightly bitter but rapidly switches to sweetish-perfumy. No alcohol taste or aroma (6.2 % ABV), no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3 – Medium, juicy, soft carbonation.
Impression and interpretation – 3.25 - The high point of this brew is the ever-lasting effervescence-fed crown and cap. Otherwise, very average. Price point is dead on.

Opaque and just darker than golden with a quickly dissipating head from tap. Nose is slightly citric and not very powerful for an IPA. now again the flavor is tame, more an APA to me with a more malty flavor with citrus hops. A bit watery with lingering bitterness.

16 oz can
Pours clear honey gold. Yellowish white head is pillowy and dissipates to a sudsy lacing.
Smells of biscuit, honey, grapefruit and pine.
Flavor is of biscuit, honey, cereal, hemp, grapefruit rind and piney to earthy hops.
Medium body with tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
A very nice well balanced IPA with good flavor and aroma. Very drinkable. Nothing groundbreaking or world class, but does the job.
