Poured into my mug. Medium gold, slightly hazy, lots of bubbles, half inch thick, a bit a lace on the glass. Has the odor of a pilsner to me. Now I'm getting some of that sweet malt smell. Hop forward, some mild alcohol, in the taste. That malt sweetness finally peeks through as you let the beer linger in your mouth. Seems overly carbonated for the style, but don't mind, overall good mouthfeel, doesn't come off as too thick or thin. Overall a decent beer, not as true to style as other octoberfests, but a good drink.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served an orange amber color with a small fizzy white head. The head fades rather quickly leaving just a tiny level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather light overall consisting of a bit of a ready and lightly roasted smell. Along with these aromas are some light notes of light fruit and some herbal hop and spice.
Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit and bready malt flavor with a hint of roast and a moderately strong caramel sweetness. The caramel takes on more notes of a brown sugar sweetness as the favor advances with the roast getting slightly stronger as well. In the end a little bit of a spice flavor of cinnamon and nutmeg as well as a bit of a citrus hop come to the tongue in the end leaving a lightly roasted and malty flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average as well. Both are nice for the easy drinking and lightly roasted tastes of the brew.
Overall – A nice Oktoberfest that is on the slightly drier and lightly roasted side. While not spectacular it is a rather nice drink.
