'20' is a Belgian-style golden ale brewed with a combination of German, French and North American two row barley, complimented by an array of continental hops from Germany, Slovenia, & the Czech Republic. Fermented with a unique Belgian yeast strain to produce a complex fruity spiciness which is delicately balanced by the dry hop character infused by our hop gun. This beer has a delightfully earthy and vibrant hop aroma that's irresistible and perfect for celebrating our twenty years of authentic beers!

i have absolutely nothing but love for these guys, but this is a pretty sloppy beer, especially to celebrate an occasion as special as a 20th anniversary, i was vry disappointed with this, and while its not bad beer necessarily, its a far cry from their best work, and in a style thats not particularly adventurous or anything, i really dont get it. the issue here is the yeast, an already intensely flavorful high ester fruity and spicy belgian strain, its clearly been allowed to run away with this it here, obviously fermented much too warm and likely for way too long, its over the top, and its off putting. i find it interesting a little bit sad that they go through the process of sourcing such unique european barley malts and hops, only to have them be entirely lost here to this yeast strain, which seems burned into my taste buds now for way too long. no balance, no finesse, no touch, not at all what i have known these guys for. from other technical standpoints its good, dry, a little bitter, medium bodied, brightly carbonated, but all these superlatives are inconsequentual because the flavor of the yeast is so far off the handle. might just be my tastes, looks like others have enjoyed it more than me...

Pours clear, gold in color with two inch head. Taste is apples, pears, hay, pepper with grassy hops. Medium bodied that starts sweet and ends hoppy. Above average, tasty and well done. I have others I prefer, but this is solid

Poured into a tulip glass from a 750ml corked bottle. Super carbonated with a tall fizzy head that took some time to dissipate. Beer is a golden color and smells of lemony yeast. Banana notes come through as well. Peppery on the initial taste, mellowing out to an earthy lemon zest followed by an intense carbonated grass clippings type aftertaste. Not really my style and definitely over carbonated to a point of annoyance.

Found a bomber of this for under 10 bucks and figured I would give it a try. Into a mason jar glass.
A - Mucho carbonation on this a gentle pour produced a 2 inch plus of head. Beer is a bright yellow with tons of carbonation bubbles in the glass. Also some yeast made it in the glass but thats OK
S - Grassy floral hops mend well with fruity yeasts and some pepper and lemon zest. Very aromatic and strong.
T - Prickly carbonation leads to herbal hop bite and a nice lemon peel bite that lingers on the palate and finishes semi sweet and crisp.
M - Prickly and bubbly but not as much as a champagne. I sip it slow.
Overall a very decent Belgium pale ale hoppy and smooth my only complaint is a touch too much carbonation. Not bad.
