Poured from the growler with a bit of a heavy hand, causing a half decent 2 finger soapy white head that sticks around for a minute.
Smell is very nice for the style. Lots of vienna malt, apple sweetness, and a flowery aroma.
Taste is wonderful. This is a great interpretation of the style. Lots of bready, caramel sweet maltiness went into this delicious brew..
Mouthfeel seems just right for the style. Medium bodied with a sweetness that stands out and a mild sourness that fits the style well.
Drinkability...this was a great choice of growler. I should have gotten one just for myself b/c everyone was a fan of this one.

It came to me a coppery amber, rather clear and somewhat carbonated. A light tan finger of tight head hung around for a bit. Moderate lacing slide down the glass as it drains.

First and foremost, the aroma is the slightly sweet air of toasted malt. A mild yeasty crustiness flits about, and the merest hint of hops floweriness whispers.

Upon sipping the rounded fruitiness and earthy mild tang of cooked Vienna malt slip through, carrying a side note of caramel. The slight presence of hops placates the malted sweetness with a vague perfume and mitigating bitterness. The finish, while expectedly sweet, is crisped and dryed, leaving a pleasantly clean feel behind. Quite tasty, it's simple and enjoyable.

Medium bodied, the body slides across the palate, lingering just long enough to make itself clear in what it's delivering.

I was at the goat race, but had to leave before they tapped the inaugural keg of this one, so I was happy to find this on tap at GLP.
With the requisite elements of tangy fruit malt and a smidgeon of hops presence, it is a bocky good time. While not really remarkable, it is nonetheless emminently drinkable for its simplicity and manageable ABV. Across the board, it's damn good, and it leaves you wanting another. I like what the goats wrought.
