On cask at memphis taproom.
A- comes my way with a finger or so of creamy tan head that settles in a bit to a simple ring. Almost pitch black in color with just a touch of brown at the edges.
S- dark roasted malt and bakers chocolate. Dark fruits and berries. Bready and sweet.
T- roasted and toasted with some nuttiness. Dark stone fruits and berries. Dark bread and sweet malts.
M- medium body and light carb but hey its on cask son.
D- this is one of the best porters I've ever had hands down. If you have the chance to get it on cask do it son.
Serving type: cask

A cask only London style Porter co-brewed by Brewmaster Brian O'Reilly and William Reed, former brewer and current owner of Standard Tap and Johnny Brenda's.
On-Cask at Memphis Taproom twice in a pint glass, I've been seeing this pop up in the city everywhere.
SFSP is a dark English porter with a deep dark shoe polish brown color with no way of seeing through it. Some lighter shades of brown towards the bottom edges. A nice firm tan/khaki colored head up above leaving small streaks of lace. Smells is on the roasty side with roast that is not to overbearing. Small nuts and chocolate and malt out the ass. Taste is porterlicious with notes of roasted beans, nuts, old world characteristics, small hops in this in the back. One of the tastiest porters i have ever had. Feel is thin but not watery, well a bit bigger than thin, less than medium. Carb is light and this is slick as hell off the cask. I could drink this one for a few hours, less than 5%, oh yeah baby, give me more!!
