Amazing I haven't reviewed this yet. Poured into a pils glass a bright clear yellow color. A very white heading that leaves very good lacing all throughout. Full of liveliness as bubbles make a steady stream from the bottom of the glass all the way to the surface.

As I crack the can a very pungent hoppiness is immediate. As I pour into the glass that same bitter hoppiness stays throughout my session. A subtle sourdough aroma is making it's presence known in the background but doesn't really break through.

Taste is extremely crisp and clean with a beautiful hop sting on the palate that lingeries and leaves you wanting more.

Mouth is light bodied and nicely carbonated. Again finishes very crisp and clean.

I can't find really anything wrong with this pils amazing how this beer is only rated a B on here.Another score from the PA breweries for making anohther great German Pils.

I had tried the "Keller" style once before and enjoyed it so I figured I would give it a try, poured a nice unfiltered deep golden color with nice big rocky head.Very buttery taste with a good malt background, not a wimpy beer by any means, very easy to drink.A nice hand crafted brew you dont see very often, well done.

Poured from the can into a pilsner glass, this beer was a hazy yellow color with a small white head.

Aroma mostly floral and grassy. There was a tiny bit of citrus, and an even smaller bit of spice.

Taste of lemon and grapefruit. Flowery. A bready background. There was some late pepper.

A hoppy and refreshing pilsner. Would drink this again.

On tap at the Drafting Room. Poured out clear and light golden with white head of tiny bubbles that left a thin covering and light ring. The scent was mainly vineous. Tastes very dry, making it very drinkable. Bitter and yummy, piney. Leaves taste of hops on your tongue. Good brew.

12 ounce can, (gotta love this trend towards more quality brew in cans) no freshness indicator/information. Pours cloudy light yellowy amber, with a nice, fine near white head, that leaves pentiful fine and quite sticky ringed lacing. Nose is softly of flowery, grassy hops and some light sugary malts. Soft, smooth, light and refreshing brew. Grassy and crisp. Easy drinking and nicely crafted. Bring on the chicken ,sausage, salads and cheese. Nice offering, recommended.

Pours a nice typical pilsner style white head, Pale and clear. Very typical and pleasing to me. Smells of grainy sweet malts, some lager yeast smells that I still can't describe very well. Earthy hops come through in the finish for a nice balance to the malts. Thin bodied, medium high carbing. I'm going to enjoy this one and may more if and when I go back to NY to pick some up. Overall a good beer and very portable. $2.15 a single.

Had on tap at the brewery in Phoenixville

Appearance: gold in color, minimal head, clear, moderate carbonation

Smell: grass and toasted malt--very fresh smelling

Taste: grass, grain, touch of hops, and toasted malt

Mouthfeel: medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet with a bitter backbone

Drinkability: I could drink this all day if this were available here. On tap this is one of the cleanest and freshest tasting beers I have had. This one is a perfect session ale. Great for the style.

Thanks to Exiled for sharing this can.

The beer pours a clear, light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very nice. I get some bready malt, along with some grassy hops. The flavor is pilsener malt, grassy hops and a medium amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice German pilsener.

Poured into a pint glass,A white creamy head,a little on the thin side.A light gold,straw color.The head dissapated fariley quickly.A fruity,slightly bready aroma.Not real aromamatic.A clean taste,slightly grainey.A light mouthfeel,A tart,tingly,with a citrusy hop finish.A light bodied,very drinkable,session beer.Not a real flavorful brew,not a bad brew either.Would be a good summertime tailgate party beer,were bottles are not permitted.

12oz can poured into a pint glass.

pours a light pale golden color with a nice big fluffy head. Nos is really light and faint. It's slightly hoppy and sweet but very tame.

Taste is quite tame as well, it's got some light sulfur that's refreshing and sweet. Light hoppiness is really good. Overall it's a great beer for the style.

A 355ml can with a BB of Oct 2013, so it's just out of date. Acquired a little while back from Trembling Madness in York. Described on the label as a North-German style pilsner.

Poured into a stemmed pilsner glass. A hazy pale-gold hue with plentiful carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam with good stability; this slowly subsides to a thick surface layer. Lovely lacing - this beer looks spot on. Aroma of light, grainy malt with hints of noble hops, grass/hay, subtle floral notes and earthy yeast. Possesses a depth that only properly matured lagers have.

Tastes of light malt and grassy hops, with a crisp, dry finish. Notes of mild grain, grass/hay, noble hops, faint floral hints, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Well-attenuated, with a twinge of sulphur in the background. A restrained, leafy bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body for the style. Slightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter noble hops and faint earthy yeast.

Nice - a tasty pilsner with good depth. It looks superb (perhaps enhanced by the glass), while the aroma and flavour have subtle hop and malt notes that balance perfectly. Good body. A great little brew - crisp and refreshing. Well worth grabbing if you come across it.

Crystal clear golden pristine beer commerical appearance, bright white head forms thick. Scattered rings of fine lacing form nicely with each sip. Aroma has a bright green hop presence full of grassiness and herbal hop notes, packed with Saaz that's for sure. A nice mineral water and biscuit malt sweetness balancing out the hops. Flavor is a bitter semi sweet mix of malts and hops but finishes a bit heavier with the earthy herbal noble hops. Malt is lightly sweet with a biscuit malt and grassy note. Finishes with a slight metallic note giving an earthy mineral content to the whole experience. Mouthfeel overall has light feel to it with herbal grassy hops provideing a dry finish. Drinkability overall is pretty poundable one of the great summer brews in cans that I will be bringing with me to the games. Easily one of the better brews in cans overall and it has medals to proves it's viability as a pils.
