Visited Sly Fox - Phoenixville this past weekend for lunch while seeing some friends in town.

Brewpub was in a strip mall by a Subway and I think some other generic shops. Heard it moved from across the street, where it was stationed in a building with much more character. This new location just didn't have a great atmosphere to it, sort of bland. Service was decent, but sort of lacking which was inexplainable with the amount of customers in the restaurant at the time. Beer selection was great. I think there were at least 12 beers to choose from and I got to build a sampler from any concoction I could come up with (I love that). Not just the selection, but they can brew some delicious beers. Had to leave with a few 6-packs. Food was okay, just average for my plate. Didn't have any revelations from the other plates on the table as well. Would like to check out the production brewery/restaurant in Royersford to compare. Overall, if you are coming through town stop by for a pint and grab some beer to go, but no need to come hungry.

Also, bring your screw-top growlers. They have a very impressive counter-pressure filler and fills were reasonable. However, I went with a swing-top that I own and it was twice as much to have that filled. Never got to inquire why that is, but kinda sucked cause I wanted to leave with a brew that was only on tap.
