Atmosphere - this is the reason frequent the Sly Fox. As long as you sit in the bar area, you are in for an extremely pleasant, friendly atmosphere, at almost any time of day, any night of the week. Friday happy hours are especially lively and happy with a wonderful mix: construction guys, cooperative farm hands, white collar, even young families at the tables near by. It's the people that make this a great place. Not just the help, but the patrons who appreciate a good brew and good service. They have outdoor dining as well, and while I have never sat out there, it seems amply staffed, and only weather can affect it otherwise.
Quality - I have never had anything from the Sly Fox that I could remotely say lacked quality, beer or food. In my opinion, all the beers are accurate for their styles and the food, while caried in range of appetizers (best wings in the area) to entrees. Nightly specials are different enough to entice.
Service - In five years, I have not once had bad service. Anywhere in the restaurant or bar. Period. Courteous, knowledgeable and attentive, even when busy.
Selection - has been getting better and better over the years, especially with the addition of their packaged products from the Royersford location. No craft brewer's pub, I have ever visited can top the quality and varierty of offerings they have at the Sly Fox.
Food - Great burgers, the best wings around, good pasta entrees, and some forays into some traditional dishes as well. Oddly, I have never had one of their steaks, while they do offer them. Nice selection of sandwiches and wraps. I highly suggest their pulled pork, Reuben or Cuban. Roast Beef sandwich is OK, but only as compared to the others. Portion sizes are price appropriate, but honestly, usually a little big if you want to leave room for their brews.
Value - price vs. quality and quantity in mind, it cannot be beat. They take extra care of regulars in this department as well. Funny thing is, it doesn't tkae long to become a regular, and really, be part of the Sly Fox family.
