Second stop on our Columbus Day jaunt.
The atmosphere here is very sports bar-esque, with TVs and memorabilia. There were several hightop bar tables and an oddly shaped bar that was interesting. The service was pretty middle-of-the-road... decent, but not really noteworthy. As for the beer, we sampled the Dunkleweizen, which was pretty par for the style, with notes of banana, clove and bubblegum. I also had a Rt. 113 IPA, which boasted grassy hops and a long-lasting, lingering bitter finish. I remember liking this beer a bit more on last year's outing to the Royersford location. For lunch, we had sandwiches, which were satisfactory. Overall, I enjoyed the Royersford location much more. I felt the atmosphere is more conducive to enjoying a few brews, and the service was better at Royersford.
Editor's Note - 12/18/07:
Attended the Sly Fox IPA Project and the service was much better, and they were completely packed for this event. Our waitress came by several times to check on us to see if we needed anything. This was a very cool event!
