On tap at Rustico Ballston. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a clear light golden color with a nice white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose has subtle pear and a very, very light sugary tartness. Grain behind that. Flavor was smooth with mild fruit and a nice light maltiness in the background. Light body with good carbonation. Very refreshing.

Poured on tap at Churchkey into a Belcher glass.
Deep brass yellow body, quite clear but not totally crystal. Simple bone white collar presented on top as well.
For a beer accentuating fruit I am not smelling it. I get some more hints of a basic pale lager, no hint of hops even of noble variety or anything else. A good decent doughy malt backbone, quite dense and bakery large though. Not sure where this is going.
Once again a great lager brewery, but where is the pear in this? Good thick body, and that classic popping malt and dough flavor. Not particularly crisp, but certainly seems to hint of the white toasty bread and thick bread and yeast. Fruit forward not so much, and not really hinting of it either.
Overall if it was just a basic lager it's pretty solid, but where's the fruit quality on this? I am not getting it so I'll have to pass overall. But it is a well made lager.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. 5/27
Pours bright gold, clear, little foam. Bubbles actively rise to the top. Apple pear nose, atwixt bready malts. Fruit more notable. Taste is a light lager, but with a fuller noteworthy fruit. Blend in nicely to contribute without being pushy. Crisp pear finish. Good carbonation. Sessionable summer alternative.

on tap at DBB outpost
A- pours clear and bright golden-yellow color with a small fizzy white head that reduces, leaving only a small ring around the glass
S- faint toasted malt with a light fruit sweetness
T- crisp lightly toasted malt mixes with a subtle sweetness of pear and sugarcane, slightly grainy finish with more subtle sweetness on the linger
M- medium-light bod with medium prickly carbonation, foamy mouthfeel with a crisp finish, drinkability is thirst quenching
O- this beer is so easy to drink and the sweetness of the pear makes it go down very quickly. This would be a great option for summer and camping season
