This is a very nice brewpub in a picturesque location at the base of the wintergreen resort, which I was visiting because my wife plays in the festival orchestra.
The place is a nice looking restuarant overall with a cool looking bar, and some nice seating, enough for maybe 100 I'd say in a mountain lodge feel. The outside is a little rough with still only gravel roads and no real parking scheme but overall its cool and adds to the country vibe of everything!
The quality of the beer produced here is notable, out of the 10 beers they had on draft I'd say I was pretty into 4 of them after having the sample of all of them, maybe 1-2 being really nice. The beers they have tend to be geared more towards some German styles than a lot of American or Belgian style ales, but thats cool and different than most breweries these days.
The food was nice, I had a smoked meat platter and my wife had a quesadilla, my meat platter was very good if you like charred smoked meat and her quesadilla was decent.
The servers were very nice and pretty helpful with the menu though I didn't particularly feel like our waitress knew a ton about their beer, but it was helpful enough.
Overall a nice place and I can see why they have won some awards because their beer is crafted quite well!

Compared with the other breweries on 151, the food is better. On site Smoker. Good innovative Sunday brunch specials. The variety of beer selection here is greater than other local brewpubs. There are usually 8 rotating taps in addition to the standards brews. I go about once every three weeks and there is almost always a brand new brew that I've never tried. The atmosphere inside is that of a hunting Lodge with animals mounted around the interior. There are two wood burning fireplaces indoors for use during the cold months. There is a view of the nearby mountains from the outdoor seating. If going on a weekend getting there before one o'clock would eliminate a long wait for a table. My favorite of the big 3 brewpubs on 151.
