Talks the talk and walks the walk but the jive is a bit unique here. Has the Belgian character, fluent in yeast but the spicing accent is where this beer sets its self from the rest. Good job all around.

12 oz can. Pours clear light yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is lots of musty Thai spices.

The flavor is some sweet bready malts with a lot of spices and some light floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, interesting Thai spices. Lots of spice but not much IPA.

12 oz yellow can served chilled into a goblet.

Thai Style White IPA is a pale hazy yellow color with thick white head and good retention.

Aroma is slightly spicy coriander and maybe saffron.

Flavor is balanced between hops and spice with the notes bouncing back and forth on each sip. It seems to end spicy, bitter, and dry.

Mouthfeel is light in body, crisp and balanced.

Overall a solid beer and not, as I feared, reminiscent of Thai food.

Clear straw colored pour with a minimal white head. Very light aroma of spice and citrusy hops. Taste has lemon grass and coriander upfront for a really interesting, and good, initial taste. Light bodied. As the beer warms the spice comes out more along with a bit of lemon, basil, pepper and yeast. Not much in the way of hops/bitterness present but still interesting and good. Finishes short lingering lemon grass and basil flavor.

Serving: 12 oz can poured into an IPA glass.

Appearance: Light, very slightly hazy, bright lemony yellow. Smaller frothy head but lasts well with nice lines of lacing.

Smell: Belgian yeast, citrus, lemongrass and some savory notes.

Taste: Lighter malty body (crackers, white bread), fruity Belgian yeast and layers citrus and spice. Finishes dry and a bit bitter.

Mouthfeel: Light and well carbonated.

Overall: Somewhat confused in style, more a hoppy wit than IPA as the Belgian yeast takes over, but still drinkable, refreshing and interesting all at once.
