Look: Bright golden yellow. Big fluffy head dissipates slowly. Beautiful lacing. Spice sediment free floating. Active carbonation.

Smell: Peppery Belgian yeast up front. Some floral qualities, maybe a little jasmine.

Taste: Really nice spice. pepper, coriander, and ginger all do their own things. A little floral bitterness on the back end. Really well balanced.

Feel: Its a little creamy. Fairly dry finish.

Overall: Its a very solid Belgian IPA. One of my favorite seasonals from Upslope. (495 characters)

12 oz can. Pours clear light yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is lots of musty Thai spices.

The flavor is some sweet bready malts with a lot of spices and some light floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, interesting Thai spices. Lots of spice but not much IPA. (361 characters)

Talks the talk and walks the walk but the jive is a bit unique here. Has the Belgian character, fluent in yeast but the spicing accent is where this beer sets its self from the rest. Good job all around. (203 characters)

12 oz yellow can served chilled into a goblet.

Thai Style White IPA is a pale hazy yellow color with thick white head and good retention.

Aroma is slightly spicy coriander and maybe saffron.

Flavor is balanced between hops and spice with the notes bouncing back and forth on each sip. It seems to end spicy, bitter, and dry.

Mouthfeel is light in body, crisp and balanced.

Overall a solid beer and not, as I feared, reminiscent of Thai food. (448 characters)

A nice, earthy Belgian-influenced pale ale, but the spices get muddled here. That herbal bitterness is interesting, but it largely comes off like a clean wit. (158 characters)

Look: Clear yellow, tall white head. Good retention. Very light in color for an IPA. 3.75/5
Aroma: Wheat yeast dominates, along with a little coriander. The hops are very subtle. Unusual for an IPA, but interesting. 3.5/5
Taste: Assertive bitterness. Very dry. Ginger and Thai basil are prominent in the taste, giving it a curry-like flavor. 4.25/5
M: Average IPA carbonation and feel. 3.5/5
O: Not something I would grab for a go-to IPA, but it was fun to try. A unique, different take on the IPA that is less about the hops and more about the Thai spices. 4/5 (561 characters)

12 oz can pours a lightly hazed gold color with a very large cap of white head that displays excellent retention and lace. Great looking brew.

Nose smells like a Thai tea with lots of spice and citrus going on. If I had to pin it down to three things, Id go lemongrass, herbs and citrus peels.

Taste throws down a lot of bitterness from a variety of sources it seems. There is a basil/herbaceous leafy bitterness and there is a strong citric hop bitterness. The malt pretty much stays out of the way and the yeast carries very little weight over the 'kitchen sink' spice additions. It doesnt taste as bad as I thought it would, but it is also not making me want to go buy another sixer. (688 characters)
