Rackhouse had this on tap. First thing I saw, and didn't look elsewhere. Ordered it
Nice dark pour. Off brown/tan head. Lacing is thin but present.
Eee--yikes! The aroma is harsh. Alcohol and fingernail polish remover. Sharp. Some hints of cocoa and raisin. Oiy
Flavor doesn't follow the nose, thankfully. The dark raisin comes out more as does the cocoa. Somewhat sweet caramel here and there. Dark bread is thinned out by the abv. Warms up well. Leather and black plum come out, coffee, chocolate. Wonder if they'll can this? Probably not due to the abv/cost

Had this one on tap this evening at Hops & Pie in the Highland neighborhood in North Denver. Poured a nice, rich black color, with a brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate and anise. On the palate, fairly full bodied, with flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla and raisins.
