This lager pours from the can to a golden/straw color and produces only a small amount of foam- enough to look nice without producing so much to overflow your glass. Inhale the aromas and you get scents of sweet grains, dough, and light fruit.
Tasting this beer reveals about what you expect, with flavors of barley malt, grains, biscuits, and crackers. There is a little fruit in there as well and just the slightest spice. The beer finishes smooth and refreshing.
Upslope has produced a good, sessionable lager with this beer. The flavor of pale barley malt and grain forms the basis of this beer and its crisp, clean, easy- going nature make it a good choice for multiple purposes. At first glance, it might look like the typical macro- lager, but the nose and taste have none of that funk and/or cardboard flavor common to some of the big name, adjunct lagers.
Overall, a tasty little lager that I will keep in mind for my next party.

Appearance: pours a sudsy white head that recedes slowly leaving some lacing. Color is a clear light golden with abundant streaming carbonation.
Aroma: light toasted barley marley, yeast rolls, and some floral hop aroma.
Mouthfeel: light bodied, crisp, just slightly sticky with a mostly dry finish.
Flavor: nicely balanced with sweet barely malt, biscuit, apple, and some mild hops in the finish. Overall: a very pleasant and drinkable lager. Well done Upslope!
