A: pours a nice deep burnt orange. crystal clear. a faint, fizzy head appears initially and quickly fades to nothing.

S: pumpkin pie. graham crackers, spice. cinnamon, nut meg.

T: more pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutme), and graham cracker. tastes great. not so heavy on the spices that it is undrinkable, but they are certainly present, and blend together nicely. no alcohol. a pumpkin lingers afterward.

M: Nice mouthfeel. slightly creamy.

O: a good pumpkin beer. Head retention could use some work though.

16 oz can, GO CANS!

A pretty good looking beer, auburn-red and pretty clear, some rising bubbles, fair lace, head not bad, certainly compliments the emptiness of a 16 oz glass nicely.

Flavor and aroma are damn fine. Like a sweet pumpkin pie but not over-spiced like some pumpkin beers can be. Flavors are extremely well managed, with pumpkin, spice, and just enough bitterness to balance it all out into a damn fine brew.

Body is exceptionally smooth and creamy, almost like adding whipped cream to your slice. Carbonation is smooth and as close to perfection as it's possible to get. As an aside, I'm wondering how this would be on nitro... (not that I'm suggesting any changes, why mess with perfection).

An epitome of what a pumpkin beer should be. Not since Schlafly's pumpkin beer have I had a pumpkin that I like this much. Time to head back and grab a couple of four-packs of this one. Highly recommended. I'm rating it high because it deserves a high rating.

Creamy, mild pumpkin, medium spice, not too sweet. Spice lingers nicely on the palate.
