I had this at the Upslope tap room two days ago.

Great looking beer with massive lacing and dark brown, nearly
opaque color
The dominant smell is the bourbon barrel aging which is just wonderful. I've had a lot of barrel-aged brews but this one
is way up there.

Excellent taste with the bourbon barrel, some chocolate-ness.
Mouthfeel was good but not remarkable.

This is amazing stuff but I'm a sucker for bourbon barrel aging.

appearance - chocolate brown in color, dark mocha head that dissipates quickly and the lacing is pretty solid.

smell - bourbon, chocolate malts/brown malts (chocolate by far dominating), brown sugar

taste - follows the nose with some minor creamy vanilla....very well balanced

mouthfeel - thick goodness for 6.5 and well carbonated for the body
