Probably the best homebrew store in Melbourne as well as one of the longest running. Big selection of malt, hops, yeast and gear. Always pretty fresh ingredients because of the consistent turnover. Can be a bit of a madhouse on Saturdays as they get very busy. Easy to use website for online ordering.

Major supporter of Australian homebrewing in general, helping support the Australian National Hombrewers Conference (ANHC) every two years. Also a sponsor and drop off point for all of the local club competitions.

On the second last Saturday of every month they have great brewing demos for beginners.

Also have a pretty good selection of craft beers, local and imported. (678 characters)

Quite possibly the best homebrew shop in Melbourne; definately supporting the homebrew scene as major sponsors of the ANHC '08.
They have all the equipment no matter what level of homebrewing you are at.
They stock a variety of cans but also have a pretty comprehensive malt & hops selection, maybe beaten slightly by Craftbrewer in varieties offered.
They offer demonstrations every 2nd week of all grain brewing, alternating between basic equipment and a fancy (expensive) HERMS system.

They also sell a decent range of Aussie micros and imports.

Only negative is that occasionally some staff can seem a bit disinterested. (626 characters)
