Some friends and I have played pool here quite a few times, and on each occasion I got a beer (some on tap, some bottled). The overall atmosphere is loud and typical of a sports bar. The crowd (on the pool side) is mostly young people, often drinking a little to much, frequently going outside to smoke. The pool tables are worn, dirty, and old. The service is isn't bad, but is nothing to rave about. The best part about this place is the selection of beer which constantly rotates, and the beer I have had has always been decent (not old or skunked). If you have the time, I would recommend going somewhere else for beer in Colorado Springs (Trinity Brewing), and elsewhere for pool (Phantom Canyon). If you want a sports bar and food however, this is an alright choice because of the large selection of bottled beers.

I stopped in here on a Wednesday afternoon about 3PM on my visit to Co Springs. Located on Academy it is less busy than the other Old Chicagos in town. It appears to be the oldest location as well. Walking in the bar is is ahead and to the right of you with seating ahead and to the right. Service was good. With only two people at the bar it should be. Selection was the same as the other locations in town. Sad, since I was really hoping for a different beer menu. I did not try any food. I had one Hazed and Infused then left.
