A small, unassuming, store that never ceases to impress. Pretty decent selection for the size, the bomber section almost always impresses, I routinely find brews that have disa pleated everywhere else. The staff knows their stuff and are always helpful, plus they give my dog treats so bonus points for that. The placement next to Safeway is perfect too since I can duck in here while my wife is grocery shopping. I still check out the bigger stores but this has become my go to spot (only living about a mile away helps too).

Since I was beer-hunting in Boulder I figured why not give Boulder Wine and Spirits a shot. This place is next to a safeway and is not huge but is decently sized. There were a couple doors of craft bombers and Belgian 750's. I was specifically looking for Cantillon Lou pepe beers and while I did not find any, the staff was very helpful and told me that they had ordered some but not received any. This store also had several bottles of Abyss which has been absent from area store shelves for many months now. I will definitely stop by this store again t6he next time I am in Boulder.

This place is a cool joint. Nicely located right next to Safeway to hit up after going grocery shopping -- *note if you are from out of town, Colorado only sells 3.2 abv beer in grocery stores. Be sure to hit up the true beer stores for higher strength and a much wider selection of good beer.

They have a good selection of 6ers and other beer in bulk and what not but then they have a pretty solid array of singles (mainly 22oz and 750ml). All are refrigerated (I really like that). Being new to the area it was cool chatting beer with one of the guys who works there for about 30 minutes. Worth checking out.

So a guy from Philadelphia has to be the first to review this place? Wierd.

The beer's on the right side with about 8 or so coolers full of awesome beers. I grabbed a dozen bombers for the 10% discount and a handful of smaller bottles. The local scene was there in spades with some nice California and Belgian brews too. It would take a while to get sick of the selection. The boys behind the counter were pretty sharp with a little feed back on the XXX Warlock bottles I picked up.

An above average store, without question.
