Served in a pint glass on-tap at the Aviator Brewery (in the hanger!!)
Ruddy gold in color with a slight cloudiness. Nice 2 fingers or so of dense white foam that was relatively persistent, leaving behind some respectable lace.
Aromas were fairly clean with plenty of bready sweet spicy malts. If you are familiar with trippels, this carries a familiar scent.
A fairly vibrant push of flavor comes forth immediately as it rolls over the tongue, some light malt sweetness, a little bit of yeast, some fruit zest & coriander, all staying pretty tight through the experience. The finish was relatively quick but with a touch of warming to remind you that it's no lightweight. The linger carries a bit more of that spicy fruitiness. Pretty nice.
The carbonation was decent on this but I thought it was a bit course. I nice light persistent carbonation would add a much needed creaminess to this brew and enhance the mouthfeel. The overall drinkability was very good in my opinion and I thanked the brewer personally for not making it too sweet! Nice brew and great people at the brewery. Definitely check it out if you get the chance!

Poured into a Chimay goblet. No freshness date.
A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/4 inch white head that retains a bit before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and minimal surface foam. Non-resilient lacing leaves a thin ring behind.
S- Slightly effervescent wheat aroma with some yeasty undertones and a bit of spice. A touch of banana.
T- Flavor has more banana than the aroma with a hint of bubble gum and more spice. Tangy, slightly fruity. Alcohol is decently hidden.
M- Milky in texture with medium carbonation and a lightish body.
O- An all-around good tripel that I actually like better out of the can than on-tap.
