A collaboration with Milwaukee’s own Rishi Tea, this IPA is infused with Organic Jasmine Tea, lending it a sweet, floral aroma.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours deep orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of sweet citrus hops. Tastes of sweet citrus and slight earthy notes. Beer is medium bodied yet still easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Appearance: Pours a medium-orange, cloudy, color. A strong white head. Has an orange gas lamp appearance. SRM of 10. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of resinous candied malts. Some sweet citrus and tea underneath, but mostly overly sweetened candied malt. (3.25)
Flavor: Flavors of citrus and tropical, underneath a wave of sweet candied malts. Then some sweet tea like qualities. Jasmine and green tea. Finishes extremely sweet. (3.50)
Feel: Heavy, rich, sweet. Average carbonation. Sweet malts and tea linger on the palate. (3.25)
Overall: The lower rating probably reflects my distaste for imperial IPAs. Anything above 8% completely loses it's hop value, such the case here. The hops are swallowed by sweet, candied malts. Nothing new here. The tea is an odd addition. (Final Rating: 3.46)

Surprisingly tasty beer with a nice buzz. The only negative is that I couldn't find a date on the cans.

16oz can poured into a tulip glass. Decent color, moderate head and lacing. This beer is pretty sweet and I found the jasmine tea infusion a bit odd. I bought a 4 pack so will try again but my first impression is this is a below average DIPA.

9/17/18 (Milwaukee): $6.36 16 oz can poured into large tulip glass at Milwaukee Brewing Co. Ale House. Murky golden tan pour, thin white head and lacing. Very light hops aroma. Thin mouth feel and texture, somewhat dry, light hops and citrus taste. Balanced, though very light for a double IPA. Overall decent pour.

This beer is hoppy and semi sweet. I tend to like my IPAs more hoppy and less sweet. Great beer if you are starting on IPAs.

Average in almost every way. Taste fine and enjoyed, but no need to have again. Light grassy, lemon, floral notes are pleasant. Taste seems to have an assortment of light and bland hops to pair with. Not adventurous, just safe and fine. Nothing bad, light on the body for a dipa

Pours an effervescent & hazed amber with 2 fingers of fluffy cream colored head. Above average head retention & lacing
S: Some cakeyness, grassyness
T: Grassy, woody hoppyness, dryness, plus herbal hops up front. Faint cakeyness, orange peel, dryness & grassyness as this warms, with a hint of tobacco, butterscotch. Finishes, with tangerine, dryness, breadyness, & a little pear
MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, good balance
